PE and Enrichment at Kings Park Infant School

At Kings Park Infant School, PE is an important part of our week. Every Friday, the children take part in exciting sessions with Jak, exploring a broad and balanced curriculum designed to develop their physical skills, teamwork, and confidence.

Enrichment Day Success

This week, I also had the pleasure of delivering a special Enrichment Day for the children. We enjoyed parachute games that encouraged teamwork and communication, played tennis while talking about resilience and the importance of not giving up, and tackled individual challenges. The children showed fantastic creativity with speed stacks and explored rhythm and movement through music.

At the end of the day, we came together for a big presentation to celebrate everyone’s achievements. Some children received medals and certificates, while every child proudly went home with a sticker to mark their success.

To round off the day, we ran an after-school club all about empowering children through sport—and it was wonderful to see over 40% of the school sign up to take part! The energy, enthusiasm, and smiles showed just how much the children enjoyed themselves.

A huge thank you to all the staff at Kings Park for making us feel so welcome, and of course to the children, who were absolutely amazing throughout the day. We’re already looking forward to the next Enrichment Day in the Autumn 2.
