I started playing for a local football club team at the age of around 8 years old and played both in goal and outfield.
I enjoyed playing with my friends from school and loved saving shots and scoring goals! I started to play as a goalkeeper at the age of 10 and have been between the sticks ever since.
Still to this day I buzz more of seeing a top corner save than a top corner goal! Goalkeepers are a bit crazy they say…
I have been lucky in having some good grassroots coaches when growing up. However, I never really received any specific goalkeeper training until the ages of 13/14.
This helps fuel my passion in helping young goalkeepers get good professional coaching.
My main aim is to help all youth goalkeepers I work with master the basics of goalkeeping and help build their confidence. Helping them become the best goalkeeper they can be and help fuel their passion for the sport.
